Plastic and rubber sector rebounding in Queretaro

The plastic and rubber industry in Queretaro had both growth rates over 20% during the first trimester of the year, according to the Monthly Survey of the Manufacturing Industry by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography in Mexico. The sales value of products made in the plastic and rubber manufacturing industry increased its annual rate by 23%. The value of production went up by 26.2% in the first trimester of the year. According to the total value of manufacturing production, the plastic sector contributed 6.8% of the manufacture during the first trimester of 2017.
