Progresive Products Mexico announces US$25 million investment

Bekaert Deslee Textile Company, which is now operating under the name Progresive Products Mexico, presented its growth and modernization project, with a US$25 million investment and the creation of 500 new jobs for the State of Baja California. The Firm has expanded and renovated 40% of its facilities in order to keep producing and commercializing fabrics, ribbons and sheaths for the markets of Mexico, Central America, part of South America and the U.S. During an initial stage of the expansion, a new building was purchased with the objective to transfer processes from another company which was acquired with the purpose of increasing the production capacity and serving the European market, too.
