Puebla, to strengthen its electromobility & technology

The government of Puebla, through the “Mexican Trade Mission to Canada,” strengthened the state’s international promotion through an agenda aimed at attracting investment and expanding cooperation in strategic sectors such as electromobility, energy, pharmaceuticals, and construction.
Among the activities carried out, the delegation visited Electrovaya, a firm specializing in innovation and the development of batteries for industrial and electric mobility applications. The objective was to learn about technological models and processes applicable to the electromobility and advanced manufacturing industries in Puebla.
The trade mission also served to expand institutional dialogue between Mexican and Canadian authorities. During the meetings, Marcelo Ebrard and Canadian Minister Dominic LeBlanc reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the USMCA and building a more competitive and resilient North American economy.
The Puebla government noted that strengthening the bilateral relationship represents an opportunity for the state to participate in high-impact projects related to technology, the relocation of investments, and the expansion of industrial supply chains in North America.
