Teamwork between the government and companies will strengthen Queretaro's aeronautical industry, allowing for 2017 growth records to surpass 5%, since the market will require 30,000 new aircraft over the next 20 years, affirms Juan Carlos Corral Martin, General Director of Industria de Turbo Propulsores (ITP) Mexico and the new President of Queretaro's Aero Cluster. He said that an expenditure budget with concrete yearly objectives and work plans will be needed, requiring financing from different sources, as well as the contribution of all the cluster members, and collaboration with other clusters, both from the federation and international. With this, the Aero cluster from Queretaro must drive the development of qualified staff, in association with universities. On the other hand, with the arrival of the Mexican Air Force into Queretaro's Intercontinental Airport (AIQ), there is opportunity for companies from the State's aeronautic industry to work with SEDENA, thus boosting SME's to become integrated into the supply chain for this industry.
