Queretaro, fourth place in aerospace development worldwide

The Secretary of Sustainable Development of the State Government of Queretaro, Marco A. Del Prete, together with Sergio Ornelas, editor of MexicoNow and organizer of the event, the activities of the seventh edition of Mexico’s Aerospace Summit 2017, a specialized business forum for the aerospace manufacturing industry, were kick started. During the Summit's inauguration, Del Prete mentioned that Queretaro has become the most important aerospace destination in Mexico, by receiving little over 45% of the FDI that has arrived in Mexico for the aerospace industry, which is very good news. Likewise, Del Prete said that the State is an example of competitiveness, productivity, economic and social development. The officer presented as well, numbers indicating why Queretaro has become the epicenter of the aerospace industry in Mexico. He informed that the State is the fourth largest aircraft components exporter nationwide, and the first aircraft parts importer across the country, with US$ 22.4 million.
