Querétaro will be the guest state at Famex 2025

QUERETARO - Querétaro will be the guest state at the sixth edition of the Mexico Aerospace Fair (Famex) 2025 to be held April 23-26 at Military Air Base 1 in Santa Lucía, in the State of Mexico, next to the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA).

Brazil will also be the guest of honor at Famex, a commercial meeting of the aerospace, security and defense industry organized by the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) through the Mexican Air Force.

Queretaro, as a guest state, has an important participation in the aerospace industry; according to data from the Aerocluster of Queretaro: of the sales generated by companies in the sector in 2021, MRO services have a relevant participation, in addition to the development of aerostructures, engines, systems and equipment, as well as engineering.

The fair emerged in 2015, as an initiative to boost the country's economic development in the aerospace industry.

In the fifth edition, in 2023, 703 aerospace companies, 51 countries, and 71 aircraft were exhibited, according to Famex information. On that occasion, 6,123 business meetings were also held, and 105,000 visitors specialized in the industry were counted.
