Safran celebrates 35 years in Mexico

Safran has established Mexico as one of its most strategic global industrial hubs, with advanced manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and research and development operations for the aerospace industry.
Thirty-five years after its arrival in Mexico, Safran has turned the country into one of its most important global industrial hubs; with 20 sites nationwide and more than 1,500 jobs created, the company maintains operations linked to international aeronautical programs, including engine components used in Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
The company has developed capabilities in production, maintenance, services, engineering, and research and development, establishing a specialized industrial ecosystem in key states such as Chihuahua, Queretaro, Baja California, and Mexico City.
As part of its expansion strategy in Mexico, in 2025 Safran laid the cornerstone for the expansion of Safran Aero Composite (SAC P3) in Queretaro; the investment will enable the consolidation of new advanced manufacturing capabilities, the incorporation of sustainable processes, and the strengthening of titanium parts production with the support of 132 highly trained workers from Queretaro.
