Sales of electrified vehicles in the Mexican market totaled 909 units during November 2017, which represents a 2% decline compared to same month of 2016, according to the latest figures released by the Mexican Automotive Industry Association. November sales comprised of 31 full electric vehicles and 878 hybrid units.
From January through November sales of electrified vehicles hiked 28.3% to 9,177 units.
Most of those sales took place in Mexico City, a 44.6% of total, since regulations in the country’s capital only allow electrified vehicles to commute every day of the week. Second place in sales was the neighboring state of Mexico, with 13.4% of sales and Jalisco ended up third with 7.2%.
