Schneider Electric appoints new president

Schneider Electric, a technology partner in energy efficiency, announced the appointment of Luis D’Acosta Anezin as President and CEO for Mexico and Central America, based in Mexico City.

Luis has more than 25 years of international leadership experience in the energy, digital solutions, and software sectors for utilities and industry. He has been with Schneider Electric for the past eight years in executive roles as CEO of Uplight and EVP of Digital Energy globally.

Previously, he held leadership positions at companies such as ABB and Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), among others, where he led global teams, drove digital transformation processes, and accelerated high-growth business expansions.
