Siemens Increases its Footprint in Juarez
CIUDAD JUAREZ, CHIH - The growing demand from the North American market, especially from the housing sector, made it possible for Siemens to invest more than US$18.8 million (330 million pesos) in Ciudad Juarez.
The company held the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the 'ITESA 4', a new manufacturing plant focused on developing energy measurement and distribution products. The new site will be developed in 4 phases, concluding during the last quarter of 2025.
“We have estimated that this productive expansion will boost our exports by 16%, allowing us to satisfy the demand of our main market,” said Rolando Calderón, manufacturing director in the region.
Siemens has been present in Ciudad Juarez for 40 years.
