Sinoboom invests US$150 million in Guanajuato
GUANAJUATO - Sinoboom, the renowned Chinese company specializing in the manufacture of elevating platforms, began construction of its new plant in Guanajuato Puerto Interior, with an initial investment of US$150 million.
This project seeks to strengthen the company's presence in Latin America and North America, and is expected to begin operations in mid-2025, generating 700 direct jobs in the region.
Sinoboom was founded in the early 2000s and is now positioned as a global player in the elevating platform market, used in sectors such as construction, maintenance and logistics.
The plant in Guanajuato joins the 162 investment projects that the state has attracted in the last six years, accumulating a total of more than US$9 billion in foreign capital and the creation of more than 63,000 jobs.
"We are taking a big step in our trade and business relations between China and Guanajuato" said Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, during the groundbreaking ceremony.
Green Xu, Director of Sinoboom Intelligent Equipment Co. thanked the state government for supporting this project, which will contribute to the economic and social development of Guanajuato.
"This plant will not only strengthen our presence in the region, but will also boost local economic growth," said Xu.
Guanajuato's connection to one of the world's largest markets through its transportation infrastructure, which includes ports, highways and an efficient rail network, facilitates access to international markets, a crucial factor for Sinoboom in its expansion into the Americas.
