Slovenian firm TBP invests in Tlaxcala to supply bowden cables for Audi

After a US$ 3.5 million investment, Slovenian company Tovarna Bovdenov in Plastike (TBP) is set to start operations coming April 26 at the Xicotencatl Industrial City located in the municipality of Tlaxco, central state of Tlaxcala.

TBP recruited 40 workers to manufacture Bowden Cables for Audi’s Assembly plant, located just 20 minutes away in the neighbor state of Puebla.

TBP customers’ portfolio includes some of the biggest names in the automotive industry, including Volkswagen, BMW, Audi, Škoda, Seat, Lamborghini, Porsche, Mercedez-Benz, Bentley, Rolls Royce and Bugatti, as well as Tier 1 suppliers such as Brose, HBPO and Delphi.
