Small and Medium enterprises are growing in the Mexican Aerospace sector

According to data provided by the Directorate-General of Heavy and High Technology Industries of Mexico's Ministry of Economy, over 64% of jobs created by the aerospace industry in this Country are distributed in the States of Baja California, Chihuahua and Queretaro. Rosa Nautica, the agency specialized in aviation, adds that, listed by number of workers, 70% of jobs in Mexico are provided by small and medium companies, while 23% are employed in large firms and only 7% work for micro-businesses. The aviation industry in Mexico is becoming the main propeller for the economy in this country, as specialized manufacturing of components and parts for airplanes is reemerging as a business niche.
