SMP investing $US36 million in Jalisco

With investment valued at roughly $US36 million and 143 new jobs created, the automotive precision tubing Corporation, Salzgitter Mannesmann Precision (SMP) confirmed its decision to expand its operations in the State. During the celebration for its 10 years of presence in El Salto, Jalisco, the German firm confirmed, that thanks to its new plans, a total of 420 job positions will be opened, as part of the 2017 work force. SMP will open its second plant next to its current building, to become the most important industrial complex outside of Europe for this German firm.
