++fedex++ FedEx Freight expands operations in Mexico

Mexico City.- FedEx Freight expanded LTL (Less Than Load) operations in Mexico after opening three new service centers in Toluca, Puebla and Veracruz, in order to cut down by 50% shipments transportation time in Mexico’s southeast and improve parcel collection time.
In a press release, FedEx Corp informed that the service centers started operating last August 1st, offering LTL service and goods transportation, in addition to bilingual tools online: customer service, consolidated invoices in English and Spanish, scheduled parcel collection and shipment tracking in Mexico through their customers Website.
These services were expanded to Mexico’s southeast through an alliance with Auto Lineas Americas (ALA), a transportation company, using their 15 service centers network.
