++eolica++ Aeolian park created in Chiapas

Mexico City.- With 30 megawatts installed, an Aeolian Park in Chiapas will supply the 38 municipalities with the largest demand for electric power in the State, as well as State Government agencies in Tuxtla Gutierrez.
The electric power generated by this park, which will start operating in the summer of 2012, will be used for public lighting, water pumping and needs in the State Government’s buildings, assured Claudio Rodriguez-Galan, Partner of Woodhouse, Lorente and Ludlow Consultants Firms, and representative of the developer, which name he would not disclose.
“This kind of project had not been made before in Mexico, and as a matter of fact it opens a new niche for all kinds of energy: solar, Aeolian, hydroelectric… and therefore for all developers”, he said.
The park will work for the next 20 years and will be operated by the same company that financed, designed and built it.
