++Volkswagen_Logo++ Production by VW Puebla up in January-May

Puebla, Puebla.- Volkswagen de Mexico increased its production 10.7% upon closing last May, when 217,721 units had been assembled, VW informed in their monthly report. 
Volkswagen in Puebla informed that the model with the highest production was New Jetta, with 120,719 units; followed by Golf SportWagen, with 42,528; Beetle, with 34,163 and Classic with 20,311.
As far as production for export is concerned, 191,699 units were assembled between January and May 201 to be sold abroad, for an 18% increase over even term in 2011. 
This year Volkswagen de Mexico has hired 1,300 technicians; therefore, the labor force of their factory located in Puebla adds to 18,575 associates.
