Spectrum Controls expands production in Juarez

JUAREZ, CHIH - Spectrum Controls, a company with more than two decades of experience in the region, inaugurated a new area of operations specialized in aerospace technology.

The expansion, which represents an investment of US$10 million and the creation of 35 new jobs, adding to the 283 already existing in the border, seeks to strengthen the southwest area of the city.

During the opening ceremony, which was attended by Spectrum Controls executives, officials from the State Department of Innovation and Economic Development and the president of Canacintra in Juarez, Isela Molina, the company's commitment to innovation and local economic development was highlighted.

Tomas Castañeda, plant manager, explained that the new process inaugurated focuses on microelectronics, with tiny components mainly for aircraft turbines, a key sector in the aeronautical industry.

This specialization is intended to position the company as a pioneer in the high-tech field in the region.

Isela Molina, president of Canacintra Juarez emphasized the orientation of the new production line towards the aerospace sector and the innovation it represents for Ciudad Juarez.

The investment, she said, is a clear indication of the growth potential and confidence in the city's industrial capacity. Further, that the microelectronics technology introduced by Spectrum Controls will be an innovative breakthrough in Juarez industry, reflecting a project that has required careful planning and management.

 “This new production line is aimed at the aerospace sector, innovative in the city so we are pleased that Juarez has been considered for this investment, which generates a total of 300 jobs,” said Molina.
