Strengthening Jalisco’s aerospace sector

Luis Valtierra, President of the Aerospace Council in Jalisco, informed that they are looking to strengthen the aeronautics and space sectors in the State over the next few years. He mentions that, although this sector currently has a limited presence in Jalisco, it provides an outlook for great future opportunities, after the automotive 'boom'. The challenge at this point, consists in attracting an anchor company into Jalisco, to permit the development of supply chain. Furthermore, the Council is already working with academic institutions interested in elaborating programs focused in the aerospace industry.
