Swiss packaging solutions supplier Utz Group opens plant in Guanajuato

Swiss packaging solutions manufacturer Utz Group officially opened its production facility in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. The company invested US$ 16 million and recruited 60 workers to start operations.

Utz Group develops and manufactures sustainable reusable plastic products using thermoforming and injection molding processes.

Even though the company supplies packaging products for a wide variety of industries, its Mexican facility will focus on the automotive and processed food sectors.

Some of its main automotive customers are Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Bosch, Brose, Hella and Continental.
