Ternium invests US$ 1.1 billion in plant

Ternium announced an upcoming investment of US$1.1 billion for a new hot rolling mill plant in its Industrial Center in Pesqueria, Nuevo Leon, which will be operating by the second half of 2020. This investment will provide significant technological enhancement to improve the capacity of steel production in Mexico. It will have capacity to manufacture the most sophisticated steel products to cater to every industry in Mexico. The construction period will last three years, relying on the work of roughly 4,500 people.
