Three companies investing US$800 million to produce energy in Jalisco

Grupo Dragon, Ele Green Power, from Italy and the Chinese Corporation JINKO Solar, announced investment totaling US$800 million for wind and photovoltaic energy projects in Jalisco. Grupo Green will invest US$250 million to supply renewable energy to at least 20 companies from different sectors. Grupo Dragon is allotting US$450 million for a wind energy park to power Line 3 of the Light Train in Guadalajara. The Chinese Group JINKO Solar, on the other hand, is going to fund a solar park worth US$100 million in the same municipality, to produce up to 13 gigawatts yearly.
