Toyota to attract 100 providers

Toyota might attract roughly 100 Japanese providers, assured Tadashi Minemura, Director of the Japan Organization for Foreign Commerce (JETRO). These would be Tier 2 and 3 suppliers which would be installing plants in the Bajio region to provide materials for the vehicle assembler. On the other hand, Tier 1 providers have already made their minds and are already building their productive units. Mr. Minemura reckons that, in spite of the uncertainty, Japanese investment will continue, not only in the industrial sector, but also in the service market, while ruling out the possibility of at any projects detained due to such uncertainty.
