U.S. Investment in Mexican Aerospace

Foreign direct investment in Mexican Aerospace made the country the fourth destination globally for most investment in the sector, totaling US$33 billion for the expected quantity to close 2016, according to Benito Gritzewsky, former President of FEMIA. The principal investor in Mexican aerospace is the U.S., and Juan Pablo Castañón, President of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), stated that for 2017, investments from the U.S. in Mexico will approximate US$20 billion, so local manufacturing and participation in the global aerospace market are expected to flourish this year.
