The Aeronautic University in Queretaro (UNAQ) is developing 12 projects for entrepreneurial outreach, using a US$600,000 allotment from the Incentives for Innovation Program (PEI), which is coordinated by the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) that supports those companies which invest in research, technology development and innovation projects aimed at the development of new products, processes or services. Jorge Gutierrez de Velasco Rodriguez, UNAQ’s  Principal, stated that this school is participating in projects related to manufacture, design, simulation, production of electronic components for unmanned aircraft, composite materials, etc.. Thus, the University is consolidated as the first institution in Mexico with the largest amount of resources obtained as incentives to innovation, mainly for developing applied research for the aeronautic sector.
