UPT and Zona Centro Automotive Cluster signed collaboration agreement

TLAXCALA  – Yesterday an agreement was signed between the Polytechnic University of Tlaxcala and the Zona Centro Automotive Cluster, through which the university will obtain job opportunities for its graduates; in addition  the creation of the Automotive Systems Engineering career was announced.

In the event, held at the university facilities, where the state governor, Marco Antonio Mena Rodríguez served as witness of honor, were present the rector of the UPT, Enrique Padilla Sánchez, the president of the Automotive Cluster, Ulreich Thomas , as well as the secretary of public education, Manuel Camacho Higareda, state officials, teachers and students of the institution.

In his message, Mena Rodríguez pointed out that this agreement is an opportunity for science and technology to strengthen ties of affinity with education and improving opportunities for young people.

He stated that in the case of Tlaxcala, employment indicators have grown steadily above the 5 points, noting that one of the tasks of the state administration is to maintain this trend, despite the economic conditions that have varied constantly in the national scenario.

Finally, the present authorities carried out, with the help of a robotic arm designed by 9 semester students of mechatronics, the unveiling of the commemorative plaque for the 15 years of life of the UPT
