US$5 million invested in new maquila in Nuevo Laredo

Javier Solis, secretary of Economic Development in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, informed that a manufacturing Company, by the name of Alambrados Automotrices, established at the FINSA Industrial Park, will invest US$5 million to expand its operations, generating 3,000 employments in 2017. The Company is in the middle of a staff hiring process due to expansion, with expectations to get positions filled by early summer. Javier Solis assured that the maquila and export manufacturing industries are the sectors with the most growth in Nuevo Laredo, as well as the communications and transport sectors.
