Volaris signs agreement with Airbus to buy 80 airplanes

Mexican economy air carrier Volaris informed that an agreement has been signed with the European airplanes manufacturer Airbus, to purchase eighty A320neo airplanes, for an unspecified amount. Volaris, with operations in Mexico, US and Central America, said that these units are going to be delivered between the years 2022 and 2026. "The new airplanes will contribute to reach Volaris' growth goals", states the Company in a press release, without entering into further details.  The airline started operating in Mexico in 2006 and it currently has a fleet made up of 71 airplanes, covering over 174 routes.
