VW Production grows by 17%, exports 14.6% up

The Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry (AMIA) informed that Volkswagen Puebla, assembled 69,494 units during the January-February 2017 period, compared to the 59,403 units assembled during the same period in 2016. Regarding exports, the firm had an add-up of 46,747 vehicles, that is 5,955 more than last year. The national production record was 301,475 vehicles, while the prior period had a total of 271,278. Exports reached 240,909 units, which stands for a 21,239 unit difference.
