Yu Sakamoto takes the helm of Hino Mexico

MEXICO - Yu Sakamoto was appointed as the new President and CEO of Hino Mexico, replacing Masatomo Kumabe.

"We are proud to welcome Mr. Yu Sakamoto. We are convinced that his strategic vision and unwavering commitment to excellence will be instrumental in taking our company to new heights. We extend to him our best wishes and success in this new stage!" the assembler reported on its social networks.

Hino Mexico began commercial operations in 2007. To assemble the 500 Series units, it established an assembly plant in Silao, Guanajuato in 2009.

The first Hybrid Unit introduced to the Mexican market was in 2013. Currently its range includes the 300 Series, 300 Series Hybrid, 500 Series (rabones, tortons and fifth wheels) and 500 Series (buses).
