PARIS — Through a business mission, Mauricio Vila Dosal, governor of Yucatan recently met with companies in the aeronautical industry such as Boeing, Airbus, Safran and Femia.

It is also expected for the leader to approach and meet with investors of affiliated companies that can see Yucatan as the ideal place to install their plants. The long-term goal is that the human capital of Yucatan is not only labor, but also the brain that designs. It's not just about bringing assembly companies, but an industry that includes designers, programmers, computer engineers, and technology manufacturers; sector that can be bet very strong in Yucatan.

The participation of Vila Dosal has the purpose of making Yucatan known as a favorable entity for investments, through a more direct and aggressive promotion around the world, to attract the attention of the big investors who place Mexico many times as an industrial country, but only in the north, in the Bajío or more specifically Queretaro.
