Laredo, TX announces vaccination against COVID-19
LAREDO, TX – Health authorities in the City of Laredo, TX, announced that based on emergency distribution approval from the Center for Disease Control in the United States (CDC), they have authorized Pfizer and Modern Laboratories to provide the market with vaccines to prevent COVID-19 on an emerging basis.
The Laredo Texas Department of Health announced that Laredo is registering medical institutions to distribute and administer the vaccines. It is estimated that by the last week of December the vaccination process will begin in Laredo Texas and Webb County.
In the first stage of vaccination, the vaccine would be applied to personnel who provide some medical or health service, emergency personnel and those who are attending critical situations.
Once the logistical steps have been agreed upon, it is expected that elderly people in nursing homes and retirement homes, as well as adults over 65 years of age and people who require it due to health problems, will also receive the vaccine.
