Guanajuato Airport remodeling starts
Guanajuato's International Airport announced the beginning of its works to remodel, improve and expand the Terminal Building, with an investment over US$9.9 million. The Airport Pacific Group specified that the new construction will enhance the checkpoint and passenger revision posts, doubling the surface of the boarding area lobby, opening a new boarding gate, relocating and expanding common use areas and the migration and customs areas. An extra luggage claim transporting belt will be installed, a hub of escalators and elevators for remote international arrivals will be set, and the vehicle parking lot capacity will be increased by 35%, with 150 additional slots.
