Palsgaard Industri inaugurates new plant in San Luis Potosi
SAN LUIS POTOSI – Palsgaard Industri de México arrived in San Luis Potosí with an investment of US$18 million to operate its new production plant located in the municipality of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez.
This company dedicated to the import, production and commercialization of ingredients for the food industry built a 40,000 square meter complex where hundreds of jobs and indirect jobs will be created.
In its repertoire of products, the Danish company produces emulsifiers and stabilizers for bakery, dairy, confectionery, cake gels, condiments, among others.
Miguel Hidalgo Olvera, CEO of Palsgaard, explained that the company has a 100% carbon dioxide (Co2) emissions neutral certification and received the 2020 State Innovation Award as a Safe and Socially Responsible Company.
During his visit to the plant, Juan Manuel Carreras López, governor of the state, emphasized that San Luis Potosí has shown significant growth in the generation of jobs, salaries and attraction of companies over the last five years.
