GM de Mexico, company with the best corporate reputation
MEXICO – For the sixth consecutive year, General Motors de Mexico leads the ranking of Companies and leaders with the best Corporate Reputation in Mexico in 2021 within the Automotive Sector, according to Merco, Business Monitor of Corporate Reputation.
Within this ninth edition, Merco evaluated companies from 25 sectors such as telecommunications, leisure and entertainment, financial and automotive to choose the general Ranking of Companies 2021, where General Motors de Mexico ranked 23rd, climbing 19 places with respect to 2020.
In the 2021 General Leaders Ranking, made up of 100 executives from various industries, Francisco Garza, President and CEO of GM in Mexico, ranked 35th, making this list for the second year in a row.
“We are very honored to receive this recognition for the sixth time. These results are proof of the great work done by the entire team," said Teresa Cid, Director of Communications and Public Relations for GM de Mexico.
For the publication of this ranking, Merco used a multi-sector methodology composed of 5 evaluations, 16 sources of information and more than 4,800 surveys.
This ranking is independently audited by KPMG, which has positioned Merco as one of the international benchmark monitors. All weighting criteria are public and, as well as the results of each edition, can be consulted on Merco's website.
