Plans for a Digital Manufacturing center in Queretaro

Queretaro's Technology University (UTEQ) is planning to set up a Regional Digital Manufacturing Center, to integrate projects for the development of the industry 4.0 and embedded software. This project requires investment valued at US$2.9 million. Jose Carlos Arredondo, principal of UTEQ, explained that the plan is to transform the Creativity and Innovation Center 4.0, into the Regional Digital Manufacturing Center through this project. Additionally, a specialized section for embedded software development would be added, as it has growing demand from the industry.
