Bridgestone to supply every new assembly plant opening in Mexico

Tire manufacturer Bridgestone Corporation revealed to Notimex it will supply every new assembly plant opening in Mexico during the next two years, that means Toyota, Infiniti, Mercedes Benz and BMW will all be added to its customers portfolio.Â
The Japanese firm currently supplies every automaker in Mexico, including Mazda, Nissan, FCA, Audi, Volkswagen, Honda and even premium brands such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz receive at their plants overseas run flat tires (RFT) made in Cuernavaca, Morelos.
In Mexico, Bridgestone manufactures more than seven million tires a year through its plants in Cuernavaca, Monterrey, and Leon, but the company also operates a facility in Celaya where it manufactures foam for car seats.
