Aerospace industry and Embraer sign collaboration agreement

MEXICO - Embraer has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry (FEMIA), in collaboration with the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This agreement aims to foster the development of new business opportunities and encourage cooperation with Mexican industries and entities in the aeronautical sector.

The agreement, based on Embraer's technological and industrial capabilities, seeks to identify areas of common interest for the development of joint projects, including possible collaborations with Mexico's defense cluster.

This approach could consolidate strategic alliances that strengthen both the civil and defense sectors within the Mexican aerospace industry.

Francisco Gomes Neto, President and CEO of Embraer, highlighted the relevance of this agreement, explaining that they are very pleased to announce this Memorandum of Understanding with two key entities in Mexico.

"In addition to fostering new business and fostering greater integration between the two countries, this agreement represents an excellent opportunity for strategic cooperation between Embraer and the Mexican aeronautics industry,” he said.

Embraer has had a strong presence in Mexico for more than 40 years, with a fleet of more than 100 aircraft in operation in the country, including commercial, business and defense jets. This extensive track record in the Mexican market positions the company as a key partner for the development and growth of the aerospace sector in the region.

With this new agreement, Embraer reinforces its commitment to expand its presence in Mexico, taking advantage of the potential for collaboration with the local aerospace ecosystem and the opportunities that arise from greater bilateral integration.
