Federation to promote aerospace and automotive industries in Queretaro

QUERETARO - The state's Secretary of Sustainable Development (Sedesu), Marco Del Prete, affirmed that the federal government has made a commitment to promote the aerospace, automotive, data center and tourism sectors through its “Corridors of Wellbeing” plan.

After attending the presentation of the ten “Corridors of Wellbeing” to be promoted by the Ministry of Economy, the official explained that the state will share a block with Guanajuato, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosí and Zacatecas, which besides being part of the same region, share similarities in terms of their industrial development.

He specified that the person in charge of this corridor will be Salomón Rosas, with whom he has already had a first approach to know the works to be carried out in the area, among which are included linkage between regions, commercial exchanges and promotion towards the foreign market.

“The corridors are areas that the president Claudia Sheinbaum has earmarked in specific vocations. In the case of this Bajío region, the vocations are aerospace, automotive, data centers and tourism, to work together, link us as regions, exchange trade, exchange economy and promote us towards foreign countries,” he said.

Regarding the announcement of investments made by President Claudia Sheinbaum for 2025, the head of Sedesu celebrated that the federal president has highlighted the announcements in the entity such as Amazon Web Services.

In this regard, he stressed that his office will continue to work hard to create the conditions to attract investment, in order to materialize the 51 investment projects that the entity has in place by 2024.
