The French company Thales inaugurated the expansion of its Air Traffic Management Projects and Services Center in Mexico City. This facility is intended to develop integration, technical support, and innovation projects for air navigation service providers in Latin America.

Analicia Garcia, the company’s general manager in Mexico, noted that the expansion of the center will strengthen the company’s capacity to handle projects in the region.

Activities performed at the center include the integration of air traffic control systems, specialized technical support, the modernization of control centers, staff training, and cybersecurity services for aviation infrastructure.

Currently, the company employs more than 1,300 people in the country, where it develops technologies ranging from air traffic control systems to digital and security solutions. In the aeronautical sector, it has supplied air traffic management systems, radars, and navigation equipment to various Mexican airports, as well as technologies used by SENEAM for the operation of national airspace.
