The Costa Nayarit Project is unveiled

Governor Miguel Angel Navarro Quintero officially unveiled the Costa Nayarit development, located in the Costa Canuva complex in the municipality of Compostela.

Navarro stated that the project combines environmental, urban, and nautical development, with the construction of more than 4,500 vacation homes. He added that more than US$1.149 billion will be invested in the project.

He estimated that, over a ten-year period, Costa Nayarit will generate an economic impact exceeding US$10.342 billion, as well as approximately 10,000 direct jobs and thousands of indirect ones.

In turn, Miguel Bejos, head of the Grupo Prodi consortium (Grupo Promotor de Desarrollo e Infraestructura, S.A. de C.V.)—dedicated to construction, infrastructure, and industrial manufacturing—highlighted the governor’s vision, which, in his view, has allowed the business sector to join strategic projects and drive investments that generate “economic growth with social and environmental responsibility.”

The governor of Nayarit noted that Costa Nayarit opens up opportunities for the population and strengthens economic activity, while also consolidating the state “as a competitive destination both nationally and internationally.”
