Queretaro focuses on AI & logistics for the global market

Queretaro reaffirmed its position as one of the country’s most dynamic industrial and logistics hubs during the opening of the 28th edition of the Logistics Forum, a specialized event that brings together stakeholders from the supply chain, foreign trade, and logistics services sectors. The event was led by Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, head of the Secretariat of Sustainable Development (SEDESU), who highlighted the state’s strategic importance in global value chains.
The forum was created in response to the need for a space to share updates, build connections, and develop strategic alliances for companies and specialists in the sector. Since 2011, the initiative has evolved to become one of the most important events for logistics training and foreign trade in Queretaro, with 28 editions held in in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
During his remarks, the head of SEDESU noted that Queretaro exports more than US$18 billion annually, a figure that ranks the state 11th nationally among the country’s exporting economies and as one of the most significant manufacturing hubs in the Bajio region.
Del Prete also noted that companies face an increasingly complex international environment due to regulatory changes, tariff rules, process digitization, artificial intelligence applied to foreign trade, and new demands in supply chains. He added that the upcoming review of the USMCA will be decisive for regional competitiveness in North America and will open opportunities for companies with greater adaptability.
