Adient Technotrim invests & generates jobs in Coahuila

The automotive company Adient Technotrim announced the creation of 1,500 new jobs in the Central region of Coahuila de Zaragoza, as part of an investment of approximately US$11.5 million aimed at expanding its manufacturing operations.

The company’s expansion responds to growing demand for automotive components and Coahuila’s positioning as one of Mexico’s leading manufacturing hubs. The state concentrates investments in auto parts, assembly, and specialized production linked to the export market to the United States and Canada.

Adient Technotrim is among the global automotive industry suppliers focused on manufacturing vehicle interiors and components. Its expansion in Mexico is taking place in a context where North American supply chains are undergoing regionalization processes driven by the USMCA and the growth of nearshoring.

The US$11.5 million investment will also have an indirect impact on suppliers, industrial services, and commercial activities related to the manufacturing operation.

With this project, Coahuila strengthens its position within the automotive corridor of northern Mexico, a region that concentrates investments linked to vehicle production, auto parts, and advanced manufacturing for export to international markets.
