Aguascalientes Strengthens Business Ties
The Aguascalientes Investment Promotion Committee held its second regular meeting at the offices of the Secretariat of Economic Development, Science, and Technology (SEDECYT), where it presented the progress made by the agency and the investment promotion organizations, and listened to suggestions and concerns from representatives of the private sector.
During the session, the committee monitored efforts to foster collaboration among the government, business, and education sectors in an effort to improve the state’s ability to attract investment.
The session’s organizers shared the progress made in attracting investment, which resulted from the joint efforts of the government, the private sector, and academia. Coordination among these three sectors has been one of the cornerstones of the Investment Promotion Committee, which fosters connections between businesses, educational institutions, and the authorities involved in the state’s economic development.
The meeting concluded with a round of general discussion, during which the committee members shared their concerns and proposals regarding the organization’s activities and its outreach efforts.
During this Second Regular Session, the Committee reviewed the progress of its work while maintaining a dialogue with representatives of the private sector. The participation of these three sectors is part of a coordination plan aimed at promoting investment and strengthening Aguascalientes’ competitive edge.
The meeting provides an opportunity to learn about the projects of private-sector members, as well as to hear about the progress resulting from the joint efforts of the various stakeholders participating in the committee.
