Microcart Opens Production Line in Aguascalientes

Microcart, a company that manufactures corrugated cardboard packaging, has inaugurated a new production line at the Chichimeco Industrial Park, expanding its facility by five hectares and creating 500 jobs, according to state officials.

The inauguration was presided over by Aguascalientes Governor María Teresa Jiménez Esquivel, who emphasized that her administration maintains a policy of supporting and backing companies that decide to allocate their resources to growing within the state, thereby strengthening the economy and promoting job creation, in order to consolidate Aguascalientes as an attractive state for new investments.

The chairman of Microcart's board of directors, Israel Isaac Garcia Zamarripa, has noted that the expansion allows the company to consolidate its growth and strengthen its position within the manufacturing sector by providing it with greater infrastructure and technology to meet customer needs.

He also added that the company has state-of-the-art equipment, allowing it to process up to 15,000 metric tons of cardboard per month.
