ASK Industries inaugurates plant in Hermosillo

HERMOSILLO, SON - The company of Italian origin with Japanese and American capital, ASK Industries opened its production plant components and audio systems for vehicles in the Vie Verte Industrial Park in Hermosillo, Sonora.

The project, carried out with an investment of US$33 million, is expected to generate between 1,200 and 1,500 new jobs between 2024 and 2027.

During the inauguration ceremony, the Governor of the state, Alfonso Durazo Montaño, highlighted that this investment underpins the industrial policy of Plan Sonora, as it will take advantage of the state's natural resources to generate electricity.

He also detailed that among the products to be manufactured at the new ASK Industries plant are audio systems, loudspeakers, audio amplifiers, antenna systems, cables with an automation assembly or specific machine.

ASK Industries reports global sales in the order of 420 million euros and has as main suppliers TE Connectivity, Gebauer & Griller, Cia Cables and its customers engaged in the manufacture and marketing of vehicles.
