Bulkmatic to make a new investment in Nuevo León

The head of the Nuevo Leon Ministry of Economy, Emmanuel Loo, announced that Bulkmatic de Mexico, a logistics company of the main rail terminals in the country, will make a new investment of US$250 million in the state.

Bulkmatic has 15 terminals in the country, where it handles different products and raw materials in bulk. Some of these terminals are located in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo Leon; Tula, Hidalgo and Valle de Mexico.

Emmanuel Loo commented to the attendees of the 52nd General Assembly of Amcham Mexico, Northeast chapter, that the state has focused on supporting industry and investment, for this reason several programs have been designed focused on regional integration.

On the one hand, they re-launched the Made in Nuevo Leon brand to promote local sourcing, and offer incentives on the Payroll Tax (ISN), based on the percentage of local sourcing that the companies that come to the state have.

“That means, Nuevo León does its part and creates an incentive on the ISN so that companies can export to the United States, complying with the rules of origin of the USMCA,” said Emmanuel Loo.

An online platform was also created so that the environmental procedures required to establish a company in the state can be done online and be ready in less than 40 days this helps companies to be more productive and invest their money”.

On the other hand, they have the Impulso Nuevo León program so that SMEs can obtain credit for working capital, integrate into the supply chain of large tractor companies and participate in the value chain in the substitution of imports.

He emphasized that Nuevo León has its sights set on becoming a leader in innovation and technology, “we want to bet on innovation and we created hand in hand with key players in the state the first Artificial Intelligence cluster in Mexico, also with the support of the main universities.
