Chihuahua presents economic development results at NADBank Summit 2024

CHIHUAHUA - The governor of Chihuahua, Maru Campos, attended the NADBank Summit 2024 in San Antonio, Texas, where she presented the results and contributions of the state in terms of economic development in different strategic areas.

During her presentation, the governor said that the state reports the largest flow of exports to the United States, with more than US$69 billion registered in 2023, reflecting the work her administration is doing to make the most of the nearshoring phenomenon.

He pointed out that there is an unprecedented growth in the Chihuahua-Taiwan relationship, focused on the relocation of the semiconductor supply chain, in addition to the fact that the state is already developing electromobility, aerospace and medical device industries.

He acknowledged that NADBank, headed by John Beckham, has fulfilled its mission of providing financing for the development of infrastructure projects in the U.S.-Mexico border area, thereby making a decisive contribution to the care of the most vulnerable groups.

In reference to these sectors of the population, he indicated that with NADBank's support, more than 170,000 people in Chihuahua have been provided with drinking water and sewerage services.
