Commercial exchange between the U.S. and Mexico escalated to US$43 billion during the month of January, that is a 6.2% upgrade, compared to January 2016, according to a report by the Department of Commerce (DOC). This increase is due, in part, to the 40% increase in Mexico's oil revenue from the U.S. market during the same month. Mexican exports to U.S. amounted to US$23.48 billion in January 2017, that is 4.8% more than January 2016 numbers. Sales from U.S. to Mexico went up to US$19.53 billion, that is an 8.1% increase, compared to January 2016.
