Fabiola Luna is appointed President of the CCE in Juarez
JUAREZ – Fabiola Luna Avila was named the new president of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE) of Ciudad Juarez.
The representative of the manufacturing sector will lead the CCE for at least the next six months, although the possibility of extension is up to one year.
“Practically, it is a position of coordinating meetings and having a representation in the next six months of the Coordinating Council,” she said.
The also president of Index Juarez will replace Jesus Manuel Salayandia Lara, who represented the business dome for the last six months.
Organisms affiliated to the CCE, such as the National Chamber of Commerce (Canaco), mentioned that it is expected that the new president will do a good job and will be less confrontational.
“I believe she will make a more friendly coordination, less confrontational and less clashing, which is what Juarez needs”, said Rogelio Ramos Guevara, leader of Canaco.
